Requirements:

  • Successful Azure administrators begin this role with experience in operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, and networking.
  • Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including VMs, virtual networks, and virtual disks.
  • Understanding of network configuration, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.
  • Understanding of Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests, domain controllers, replication, Kerberos protocol, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
  • Understanding of resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and recovery procedures.

1.    Manage Azure Identities and Governance

· Deep dive into Azure AD: Users, groups, administrative units, hybrid identity (Azure AD Connect).

· Implement and manage RBAC, custom roles, resource locks, and tags.

· Manage subscriptions and governance with Management Groups, Azure Policy, and Blueprints.

2.   Azure administration with command line tool

· Azure Portal and Cloud Shell

· Azure PowerShell and CLI

· Azure Resource Manager and ARM templates

· Configure Azure Storage accounts (types, replication, blob access tiers).

· Manage data in Azure Blob Storage and Azure Files (including file sync).

· Implement storage security (access keys, SAS tokens, Azure AD authentication).
